入間川七夕祭り！

  

2011年のバーチャル七夕祭りで行われた竹飾りコンテストの結果発表です。
今年は、過去最高の応募数となり、また投票所もRLの七夕祭り会場3か所に設置する事が出来ました。
また試験的にウェブ上での投票も行いました。

2011年の狭山入間川七夕祭りは8月6日、7日に行われ、多くの来場者により、大変盛り上がった七夕祭りとなりました。

また、セカンドライフ内でも開催していた2011バーチャル七夕祭りの竹飾りコンテストも過去最高の出展数で大変盛り上がりました。RLの会場でも投票を行い、道行く人が足を止めて投票に参加し、実際にパソコン画面でのセカンドライフの世界に驚く方が沢山おりました。

今回の投票は、ウェブ上でもテスト的に行い、RLの会場では三か所に投票所を設置して行いました。現在集計中ですが本日中に発表予定です。

■Origin of Tanabata Festival
Tanabata Festival in Japan are held as one of the Buddhist festival (Bon Festival) and it originates from a festival to pray for a rich harvest. It is also said that the festival came from the Tanabata legend of China. The Chinese character “Tanabata” means the 7th evening. It is because the
worship alter to pray for a rich harvest was placed on the 7th.

To decorate branches of bamboo with strips of paper started from Edo Period. China and other neighboring countries do not have the same customs like this at their own Tanabata Festival.

■The legend of Tanabata
There is a very famous story about two stars:
Orihime (Weaver) and Natsuhiko (Hikoboshi, Cowherd) , married and they loved each other too much and stopped working. The God didn’t like them to be too passionate in love and separated them, only allowing them to meet each other in the Milkey Way on the night of July 7th. A magpie builds a bridge over the Milkey Way on July 7th for their tryst.
If July 7th become a rainy day, the poor couple can’t meet because of the flood of Milky Way. Therefore, people believes that the rain on July 7th is their tears.   

いよいよ明日、8月6日は、関東三大七夕祭りの１つ狭山入間川七夕祭り2011が開催されます。RLで開催されるこのイベントと同時にSL内でもバーチャル七夕祭りを開催いたします。

昨日締切となりました竹飾りコンテストの作品は、すでにExomorogun SIM内にて展示してあります！





今年は過去最高の出展数となりました！沢山のご応募誠にありがとうございます！
過去3回の最優秀作品も全て展示してありますので、ご来場の際は是非ともご覧ください！

また、会場では、「うちわ」や「浴衣」なども無料配布中です。七夕当日にはほかにもフリーアイテムの配布を実施いたしますので、皆様のご来場をお待ちしております！
